Services to Sections and Special Interest Groups

ORURISA provides support to the Chapter's Sections and Special Interest Groups.  Support to local Sections and Special Interest Groups includes:

Financial Support - Each year the Board of Directors develops an annual budget that includes the allocation of funds to individual Special Interest Groups and Sections.  Funds may be used by these groups to support meeting expenses, to pay for expenses related to events, to pay for membership related activities, and to cover other related costs. If you are interested in receiving grants, leaders of Sections and Special Interest Groups should contact the ORURISA Treasurer.

Website Hosting - The Chapter's website is based on a Wild Apricot Content Management System (CMS).  The web-based CMS  enables Sections and Special Interest Groups to have their web sites hosted through this solution.  The application is funded by the local chapter and services are available at no cost to Sections and Special Interest Groups. If you are interested in having your Special Interest Group's or Section's website hosted through this solution, please contact Bob Haas.

Membership Management - The Chapter has a subscription to Wild Apricot's membership application.  This provides an easy way to manage memberships including sending out Email notifications.  Sections and Special Interest Groups may utilize the membership application process. If you are interested in having your Special Interest Group's or Section's membership hosted through this solution, please contact Bob Haas.

Event Registration - The Wild Apricot software also provides an on-line event management and registration solution.  If you are interested in having your Special Interest Group's or Section's events managed through this solution, please contact Bob Haas.
