Welcome to the home page of the Klamath Basin Users Group. Here you'll find information on meetings and events, local GIS resources, and other information useful to professionals working with GIS in the Klamath Basin.
We try to hold our meetings quarterly, though they tend to be more scarce in the summer when everybody is out in the field. We meet at lunchtime in the College Union of the Oregon Institute of Technology and offer free pizza.
Members include GIS and other professionals from federal, state, county and local governments, non-profits, education and the private sector.
Recent meeting topics have included:
- Update on ORMAP from Milt Hill
- Student map contest judging and cartography round table
- Fremont-Winema National forest roads plan
- Demos of ArcGIS - Google Earth interface
