 Below is a list of items that deal with the Map Gallery that is happening at the virtual conference this week: 

  • Viewing:  Viewing the map gallery for your map and others will be at the link at Map Gallery 2022 (https://arcg.is/1iKjz). The link will also be around the conference announcing the map galley.  Below is QR code for the Map Gallery.  Share it with anyone at the conference or anyone else.


  • One Winner:  Since there are not that many contestants registered, there will be one winner and no categories. 
  • Voting:  Voting is from noon (lunch) to 2:00 pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and voting can be found on the Map Gallery Page by clicking the vote button for each contestant. Maybe more time to b, but that is what the website will say.
  • Presenting:  Presenting of the contestants will be on Tuesday from 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm.  The link to join the session is: Map Gallery Showcase (https://pdx.zoom.us/j/85346934529

    • Be prepared to share your screen and talk about your creation.  There will be some time for questions. 
  • Winner announcement:  The winner will be notified at the end of the conference at the Conference Debrief on Thursday at 1:10 pm or/and by e-mail.

Come and show off all of your hard work and earn prizes in the Map Gallery Contest!

We will be hosting the map gallery on our GIS in Action Hub Site, so that conference attendees will be able to access it during the conference.   

This year’s GIA’s them is “Spatial Data is Infrastructure”  We would like to hear about the work that you are doing, that has been transformed by GIS for the Better!  If your GIS project reflects this theme, let us know, but we are happy to consider all submissions.  You may submit more than one map.
